Staying at The Iron Factory
The Iron Factory's 2nd floor loft is available for local or visiting artists to stay in Philadelphia and enjoy access to our studio. Up to four guests can stay at The Iron Factory through one of our residency or nightly options.
*Please note we do not allow performances, classes, or showings during the residency. If you are interested performing, filming, or holding an event during a residency, please contact us to arrange.
Visiting Artist Residencies
Local or visiting artists can apply for a free one-week or three-day (micro) residency as a Visiting Artist. These residencies include daily access to the studio: 8am-5pm for one-week residencies plus evenings if studio schedule permits, and all-day access for micro residencies. Visit our Visiting Artist Application to learn more.
Alternatively, local or visiting artists can choose five- or three-day residencies. Five-day residencies include daily access to the studio from 8am-5pm, as well as evenings if studio schedule permits, and two-day residencies include access to the studio from 8am on the first day until 5pm the next day. *Artists may opt out of staying in the loft accommodations for a discounted residency rate. Visit our Residency Rates page for more information.
For artists just looking to stay over in the 2nd floor loft, the nightly rate is $50 per person/group. This option excludes studio access, though the studio can be booked at $12/hour.
